No problems with tap which is a mixer in kitchen, suddenly no hot water but cold water coming out OK. Could this be a build up of lime? And how can I fix it?

To help we will have to know the brand name of the faucet and its type, one handle or two knobs. You have mineral buildup that's clogging the inlet ports of the cartridge or faucet seats. This comes from not flushing yiour water heater on a regular basis. First let me show you how to flush, not drain, your heater.Quote:

This shouldn't take more then a few minutes. Do this monthly to keep it clear. Don't forget to flush it out every month. Your heater will thank you for it.
Get back to me with the information I need and we'll get on your faucet. Regards, Tom
I'm only getting cold to maybe warm water in my kitchen, I noticed this after returning from vacation and turning the water heater back on from vacation mode to. Warm settings, the rest of the house get hot water I have changed out the fauset but still the same I have a sink near by that dispences hot water just fine, any idea what the issue could be I have tried letting the water run but no luck, after 30 of water running improvement
Have you unhooked the hot water supply line and checking to see if there isn't a blockage in the angle stop? Back to you, Tom
