Have sex as often as you feel comfortable doing it. If you need a break, say "no." Learn about ovulation and the menstrual cycle. Be informed.

It really not about how many "times" you have sex. It's more about "when" you have sex. If you are Trying to conceive then you need to narrow down your window of ovulation and try and concentrate sex around that time. But even then, it can take most healthy couples up to a year to conceive.

It could take only once, or many times. Timing is a key factor here.
