This happened about one month ago. Me and my friend were in a store and got caught for stealing when we walked out
I was not the one stealing but the under cover security guy heard me tell my friend to do it
I was charged with theft under 5000 and was told that I will receive a fine in my mail in about 10 days
So far I haven't received anything
I am 15 years old and I live in ontario, Canada.
I want to know, if my family plans to drive down to the states, would they stop us
And I heard that you are not aloud to go into any country with a criminal record
And by the way, the police officer had let us go on caution
And one more thing that happened before was, when I was 11 years old, I had been caught for stealing from another store, but I think that record got cleared out when I turned 12. I do not remember much details about that but I know that when I got caught with my friend a month ago, they asked me if we have been ever in contact with the police before, my friend and I both said no, then later they found out that my FRIEND has been in contact before and I haven't. So I guess my records were cleared out.
So basically, I just want to know, if I will be stopped at the border due to my criminal record.
And also what other punishments are their.

U don't have a "criminal record", since you're not even 18 yet. I just got charged with theft under $5000, buh charges were just dropped, and I'm 18, and I don't even have a criminal record with that. So since your so young, you should be fine

And will it be removed when I'm 18
Cause they let me go on caution
