Wiring one switch for multiple lights
I understand the wiring for a single switch for a single light but what do I do with multiple lights on the one switch without making the whole circuit run off that switch. There are other outlets that need constant power on the same line as the two lights.

Please describe what you wish to do a bit more clearly. Do you wish to just add more lights to the room? Are they switched (or half switched) duplex outlets? Is the ceiling accesable? What is currently there?

If you want part of a circuit hot when the switch is off, you must run separate wires from the switch on. Give us more details, and we can explain more.
