    Tiny veins on my thighs
    Hi,
I have these ugly little spider veins (think that's what they are called) on my thighs and would like to somehow get rid of them or at least make them fade a little.
Ive tried creams, massage, exercise and of course avoid crossing my legs now when I sit, which I was told that is the main reason why we ladies get them so often, not forgetting pregnancy...
Getting rid of them professionaly costs a fortune and they do eventually come back..

They are called varicose veins. When I was little I called them "very close veins". There is nothing out there that I have discovered that works short of professional treatment. My mother had this condition from standing a lot. The only thing that worked for her was bed rest and not just sitting down.

As someone who has tried multiple products and wasted lots of money, I think professional treatment is the only thing that really works on them. At least the only thing as far as I know. My doctor told me to avoid too much standing and also to cut back on caffeine. I'm not sure why he mentioned the caffeine. Another doctor told me caffeine has nothing to do with it. I did quit drinking coffee and mine stayed the same, so it didn't help me any.
