Hello,
I realize this question has been asked before but the proposed solutions have not corrected my problem. I have recenly renovated my kitchen and have added an island which includes my sink and dishwasher. After the plumbing had been connected, I noticed a considerable reduction in the water pressure in the kitchen sink. I was told that the faucet ( a new Blanco, single handle faucet made in Germany ) is equipped with a device that reduces water consumption and that that was the reason for the loss of pressure. Could this be the case ?
My greatest problem though: The hot water pressure in the bathroom sink has also been reduced to a little more than a trickle. It is a two handle twenty year old faucet. I have verified the cartridge and there seems to be no debris blocking the pipe.. The hot water tank is very recent ( 6 months old ). I have drained it and the water coming from the bottom is crystal clear.
I believe the problem could be related to the way the connections were made.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
:)
