    Loss of water pressure
    Hello,

I realize this question has been asked before but the proposed solutions have not corrected my problem. I have recenly renovated my kitchen and have added an island which includes my sink and dishwasher. After the plumbing had been connected, I noticed a considerable reduction in the water pressure in the kitchen sink. I was told that the faucet ( a new Blanco, single handle faucet made in Germany ) is equipped with a device that reduces water consumption and that that was the reason for the loss of pressure. Could this be the case ?

My greatest problem though: The hot water pressure in the bathroom sink has also been reduced to a little more than a trickle. It is a two handle twenty year old faucet. I have verified the cartridge and there seems to be no debris blocking the pipe.. The hot water tank is very recent ( 6 months old ). I have drained it and the water coming from the bottom is crystal clear.

I believe the problem could be related to the way the connections were made.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    :)

    Hi Nathaniel,
". I have verified the cartridge and there seems to be no debris blocking the pipe"

When you had the faucet did you turn the water back on and flush out the supplies? Was there a strong stream? That's about the only way you can check a faucet. If you have a strong stream coming out of the supplies but not out of the faucet that just leaves one thing to concentrate on. Regards, Tom
