My pit bull just had puppies today.. she had 5 of them that lived, 2 died.
She is not even a year old yet, and had gotten pregnant on accident(long story)
Well, now that she has had her puppies, she is kind of shaking or shivering constantly and I'm not sure if its because she's worn out or scared or cold..
Also, I think she will need some sort of vitamins or foods while she is nursing and stuff right?
I'm not sure about this whole puppy and nursing thing.. any advice/answers?

Is she inside or out? Is she nursing the pups?

What were you feeding her while she was pregnant? Being pregnant and nursing takes a lot out of a dog. One thing to be very concerned about is calcium deficiency. Have you had the dog to a vet prior to whelping? The shivering doesn't sound normal to me, and I would see if you can get her looked at.
