    Why Am I Here
    Body Dents
So this may be the dumbest thing anyone has ever asked but I have to ask because it's something that I really feel is the truth behind this "condition".

About a year ago, there was a bad freeze in my town. ICE WAS EVERYWHERE!! It's not something that happens to often because I live in the deep south and most of the time it's just hot and humid. Anyway, because of this unusual freeze, I didn't take it very seriously and I was trying to get home from a friend's house and he lives on the third floor of an apartment complex where the stairs are outside. I thought if I hold on to the rail I can get down the stairs. Of course that wasn't the case and my feet flew out from beneath me and I was on my bottom. I got a huge bruise that hurt to even walk and I had to shift the weight to one side because it hurt so bad. Most bruises I've ever seen are purple, yellow, red, well this was the first time I had ever seen or had a bruise where the color was nearly black.

So question is... is there a possibility that the body can get a permanent dent from a fall like that?? Every time I ask someone they think I'm crazy but I swear to you that if you compare cheeks there is a big dent in the exact spot of the bruise that was not there before the fall. Now of course it's hard to get people to agree with me because I can't just expose my behind to them so that's why I'm asking. So can the body get a dent??

Oh and if this is possible can anything be done to fix it? Make it go away?

You probably bruised the bone. That can take a very long time to heal. It isn't likely to leave a lasting dent. Have you shown the injured area to a physican?
