    Keeping a girlfriend
My girlfriend and I have gone out three times already and this third time I thought would be the best. This relationship has gone on for about 2 months now. But the other day she just texted me and said that we should just be friends. I called her backed and asked her why because we had been going pretty steady. She gave me two reason. One was because I work at their families business and her mom doesn't want her going out with coworkers. The other one she couldn't explain but said she would get back to me on that one. I did ask her if we could work it out and she said sure. But I'm not sure on how to fix my relationship so any advice would work.

Three dates is hardly a relationship, but it has potential. Except for one little thing, she doesn't seem to be willing because of family, in which case, forget it.

I think he means that have been a couple 3 separate times but yeah if she has trouble balancing you with family then I would move on.

She sounds like she definitely doesn't want this as much as you , let her go as she wishes and don't destroy your dignity by trying to make her change her mind.

Better to find out this early than when you have invested a lot of time and energy into it.

She's a girl with a dilemma. Don't force yourself on this. She has valid reasons so respect her decision to put a distance.

All you can be for now is a friend. Be a gentleman on this matter and give her what she wants.

Look on the brightside, you two are sorting out problem early in the relationship---its a sign of maturity.
