    Unclog toilet drain
I live in a 2nd floor apartment. I used a clorox disposable toilet brush cleaner and it was accidentally flushed down the drain. Is there anything I can do to either retrieve it or can I try to push it down into a larger pipe. What do you advise. My landlord states I will have to pay a plumber to rotorooter it out. I cannot afford to do this. Any assistance will help.

Here's the same thing from just a few days ago.

    Unclog toilet drain
Unfortunately the landlord pushed the sponge type head out of the small pipe and beyond the curve. Than he took the toilet off and tried to retrieve it and instead pushed it in further. Can you please give me any suggestions now.

Took the toilet off and pushed it further? Are you saying it's now in the drain that goes down under the floor?

    Unclog toilet
Yes, (Sorry it is the 3rd floor apartment) it is in the pipe after the toilet. The toilet is draining slow but it does drain. It dosen't run over.

    Clogged toilet trap
Thank you, everyone. The top of the sponge was never snaked out of the toilet like the landlord said. We found it but still have to work on getting it out of the toilet trap.

    Hi suz,

"The top of the sponge was never snaked out of the toilet like the landlord said. We found it but still have to work on getting it out of the toilet trap."

You answer has me confused. How many pieces is the sponge in? You have retrived it from the pipe under the floor and you still have part of it in the bowl? Exactly what is still in there and where is it at? Please explain. Tom
