In spite of its limitation of Ratio analysis are widely used, why?

Hi arjun... you are right that ratio analysis has its limitations but still it is widely used... the thing is besides its limitations it gives at least Some idea of how business is performing and what are the industry norms... if ratio analysis is not there... we have Nothing for comparisons... so something is better than nothing :)
