Thanks.
I have a center-set 2-handle widespread kitchen faucet (learned all that from internet LOL), with the classic "J' shaped spicket that rotates.
It seems that the J-shaped section keeps coming loose from the outside of the sink especially with multiple rotations when washing dishes. There are no apparent leaks.
What I have figured out is that under the sink there is a small nut that if I turn it 1/2 to 1 turn it seems to tighten it somewhat, however, I'm hand tightening and having extreme difficulty getting access to area with crescent wrench to tighten further due to the position of it, depth of sink and other hoses pipes etc... I do partially get the crescent wrench on it, but not enough to get sufficient leverage.Even if it gets tightened a little bit as soon as I use the sink and turn the J shaped part, it loosens again in 1-2 days.
Is there a more efficient way of tightening it?
Do I need to tighten another part? (I thought I had to tighten part on outside/top of sink but don't seem to see a part/nut to tighten)
Even if I get it tighter is there a way to have it hold longer? (bonding agent?)
I thank you in advance for any help
