    Child support
I have 2 children age 18 and 16. The 18 yr old will graduate in June. How do I go about stopping child support for him and getting it reduced to one child. Do I have to go back to court to do this. I live in VA and according to law it is stopped at age 19 or graduate high school. It is 4 months before graduation and the last time I had it reduced it took her lawyer 2 months before it changed.

Yes, you will have to go to court to have it stopped ( silly, it shoild stop automatically, but normally it does not) BUT>>> if the child is going to collect most child support agreements require payments if they are going full time to college.
