Hi, I have a problem and I can't figure it out: I live and worked in MA about six months ago my department was moved to CT, now I'm not sure how I should be filing my taxes.
Thanks DMari

For purposes of filing you state(s) tax returns You apportion you Total Income, MA & Ct, based on time in each state. So, this means you will file two state tax returns and one federal tax return. You will need to use a part year resident state tax form for each state and follow the instruction on how to fill out. :)
Agreed; excellent post, Barry!
