First, how old are you? It is not uncommon to have an abnormal period, or to miss a period without being pregnant anytime before the age of 27. Even if you have never experienced abnormal bleeding before. Your hormones still won't have evened out until then.

It doesn't sound like you are pregnant to me, but I am not a doctor. Most women don't have implantation bleeding when pregnant. All you can do is wait and take another test. I recommend waiting a week and taking another test. If it comes out negative I would say it is safe to assume you aren't pregnant. Many of the pregnancy 'symptoms' are symptoms of something else and not pregnancy. Besides, pregnancy symptoms don't typically show up until around the 6-8 week mark. Wait a week and take another test. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I have had this happen, and in my case it turned out everything was OK. I was only 22 at the time though. Have you had any changes in the past month? Like starting a birth control medication, a major change in your schedule, or an illness or anything? It doesn't sound like you are very likely to be pregnant to me.

I would say wait a week or so and take another pregnancy test. How long ago was your last pap smear/annual exam? If it were me, I would probably go in to the doctor's and ask about it just so I didn't worry.

I would either wait a week and test again, or call your doc. Hope you figure it out soon. Sometimes stress can cause the change.
