    Hello young folks,

    Here is my problem. I have a desktop computer with WIN ME just got broadban internet. Can I use my new laptop WIN Vista to connect to the internet using my desktop connection? I was told something about a router?

    Yes, you can purchase a wireless router that would plug in between your modem and your computer ( assuming you use DSL or cable) ** does not work with dial up.

    You can buy them almost anyway, in US Walmart, every computer store and more. Most are as simple as plug, run the disk and it works.
    This is assuming your lap top has a wireless card in it.
