:confused: we are Trying to conceive baby number 2 , I am supposed to start my period on jan 28th 2008 (today) but nothing has happened yet.. . My last 28 day cycle was on dec 31 2007 and we had sex on dec 31, jan 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27 I ovulated on or around jan 14th and I took a pregnancy . Test on jan 23rd and 24th.. . could I be pregnant? Should I wait to test in a few days or in the morning

Since you were suppose to start your period today, its possible that the tests you took earlier could have been false results. Some tests say that they are reliable up to 5 days before your missed period. But really since not all women ovulate and therefore conceive at the same time in their cycles, or even have the same length of cycles, these tests are most often not accurate. Most women don't usually have enough hcg(pregnancy hormone) built up in their systems yet to show up on a test. We usually suggest that you wait for one week after a missed period to take a test. (as its not uncommon to be late, or even completely miss a cycle now and then, and also because this gives time for the hcg to build up in your system) its very possible that you could be pregnant, but you won't know until you take a test and get that positive result.
