How do I hook up my dvd recorder, to my satellite receiver and TV?

I know of grown men and women who have spent considerable time trying to do this and they have all ended up calling their satellite service and most times had to have a service call to properly hook it all up. Have you tried looking in the dvd manual? Also some kinds of dvd's have to have a modulator/converter between the dvd and the TV.

Return that DVD recorder and get a TiVo!! Much easier
