Toilet tank lever breaks when I try to flush toilet
I have a problem trying to flush my toilet. When attempting to flush the plastic tank lever often breaks and when I use the metal tank level they often bend. The only way to flush the toilet is by removing the top and pulling up the tank ball lift by hand. What can I do to solve this problem. Thank for any suggestions.

It sounds like you have a flush ball and guide and not a flapper. If it were my call I would replace the flush ball with a flapper, remove the lift wire guide and the problem will disappear. Failing that. You're hanging up in the guide the wire runs through. Grease the lift wire and lift wire guide. If the lift wire has crud on it clean it up. Make sure the wire runs true and isn't in a bind. Good luck, Tom
