    Land Contract property tax
We currently have a modular home on land contract and are wanting out. We just found out that we can't sell it, but our taxes both school and property are due now. They are still in the seller's name... should we pay them?? We plan to ask for a buyback, but chances are he will not do it knowing how much money he is going to make off it when we leave! (our $5000 deposit, plus about $5000 we put into fixing it up!)

If you are looking to get out of the contract then I would hold off paying it. At the worst he can sue you for them and then you pay.

That's what we thought... so is there a way we can sue him for the $ we put into it if he doesn't want to buy it back??

Unlikely. It would depend on the wording of the contract.
