    Coming gasoline shortage
    Something to think about------
If your family were permitted to purchase just 5 gallons of gas per week, how would it change your lifestyle?
    Prairie Son:rolleyes:

It wouldn't change all that much. My husband has a home based business and all my clients are in town, so I walk to all of them. I can walk for my groceries and back and our entertainment, if we feel we need to go out, is in walking distance. And there is the train to the city and a small bus in town.

It would change mine tremendously! I live in the country where five gallons is nothing.
Not all the change would be bad, it may make me stay home when I don't really need to leave and if I did need to leave, I suppose I would put everything packed full in to one day. Then I would invite my neighbors to go with me so they could take advantage of my five gallons too. Lol, I suppose this may be a good thing, 5 gallons is a little low, It would make it so I wouldn't be able to get my kids to sports practices, (5 kids) and it would stop us from going camping and such in the summer. It would stop waste that's for sure. I wouldn't want this to happen... Hey, lucky Tickle, can I have your 5 gallons? Hehe

Yes, it would impact me. I would need to quit my job and after that loss of income, possibly be evicted for non payment of rent.

I ain't bragging, but my place is paid off and I have a cellar full of canned goods from my garden and store bought. I don't give a dam what they do simply because I haven't fallen into their debt trap. My point is, everyone needs to get out of debt, return to a simpler way of life and let the Wall Street Sharks eat themselves. When we are much less dependent on them, they will realize just how truly dependent they are on us.
I figure that someday soon, I will trade a can of spam for at least one ounce of gold!
