    Dryer heating elements
I have a Kenmore Heavy Duty electric dryer model #96272100 and my question is "How do I get the heating element out so I can replace it?

I think your heating element is in back of your dryer

Unplug dryer & remove vent hose -- then remove back

Should be inside enclosure in lower right hand side

There are two thermostats on enclosure -- check them

If it's a 29" remove from the back. A 27" removes from the front, but will have to remove the top.
