    Stipping permanently died hair
Hi all, have red hair naturally and have been dying dark brown for about 5 years usually with permanent dye. Its gone so dark now it looks sort of purpley black and I don't like it. I don't want to go back to red but would like to go strawberry blonde or blonde. Does anyone know if stripping would take out all that permanent dye?? Is it done in most hairdressers and what is the cost of it?

Stripping your hair will take out the unwanted permanent hair color, but the cost on getting it stripped all depends on the hair dresser it is usually in between 50-100 dollars.

Thank you for your help, that is bit expensive I think. I have bought affinage eraser hair dye remover so I am going to get my hair cut quite short and then try strip it myself, then dye over it! Hope it turns out OK!
