Usually vets tell you that you need to just give it time. Many pets will make a complete recovery within a few weeks to a few months time. The vet should run some tests to figure out exactly why this occurred and they usually try to treat it by removing the possible causes in diet and environment. Not to disagree with Dana but Rescue Remedy is helpful for anxiety issues. That doesn't appear to be the case here, and I don't know how much of a help or hindrance it will be. I have never heard of it being used to help a cat recover from a stroke. Before trying any herbal remedies, please discuss them with your vet first. There are many vets that do recommend herbal or over the counter products for your pet if there isn't any medication available to treat whatever is ailing them.
