Ok, so I have been taking birth control (lutera 28 pack). My period started on Thursday, January 17 but my red pills didn't strt until Monday, January 21. I know the red pills are not effective, and I had sex yesterday and my effective pills don't start until Monday, January 28. Could I get pregnant?:confused:

Even when you take birth control religiously, it's never 100%. It works for lots of people lots of the time, but there are still times it doesn't. One of my friends got pregnant while taking it religiously at the same time every day. Using condoms + birth control is safer.

I would wait a little while and then take a pregnancy test. If you are worried about false results, go get one done at the doctor.

It is possible (like peggyhill siad, its never 100%), but highly unlikely. I wouldn't stress over it unless you miss your period next month. Then definitely take a test.
