I have a Amana Air Command 80 Model GHI. I heard the vent blower motor start up but no follow-up ignitor action. The ignitor was found to have a crack in it. The furnace never did shut itself off. Suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to put a new igniter in to make your furnace work properly. It will not work properly if cracked (the igniter).
