    How long do I wait?
    Hello,

I was dating a girl for about 4 months. We knew each other from work. She had told me that she had a crush on me from the first day she met me. We are both 27. About 3 1/2 weeks ago she told me that she still cares a lot about me but she just can't do this right now. I excepted her decision and didn't bother her. I wrote her a long letter telling her how I feel and apologized for the way I was acting towards the end of our relationship. I was very miserable because I just had lost my job and was very down in the dumps. It has been now like I said about 3 1/2 weeks. Should I just give up on waiting for her? And How long do I wait?

    Thanks

I am unclear if you lost your job or the girl first, either way forget the girl for now and concentrate on getting a job,No woman wants a relationship with an unemployed man.Don't call till you can tell her your working again!

    Not calling
    Hi,
I agree with the other answer about waiting and concentrating on getting a job.
That would be the most important thing right now. I do wish you the best in finding a job; sending out as many resumes and applications as you can.
After that, send her another letter, saying you are stilll thinking of her, telling her about your new job, and hope for the best. May be that she will answer you.

There's no "standard waiting time" its one of those things where you either feel it or you don't. You not her. If you feel that you need her that you want her-- her, not the idea of her, not making out with someone, but this actual woman if you feel for her then what would be the point of not waiting?

Don't hang up your life for her but if you feel something for her and don't feel something for others-- don't go dating someone if she already has your heart because if she does-- waiting or dating other women won't make a difference. Your heart would still be waiting for her so why waste your time with other people?

If you feel it wait, if you don't then you're wasting both your time.

If she really liked/loved you , she would not make you wait like that. YOU DESERVE BETTER

If she really liked you/loved you she'll figure it out in her own way in her own time.

    No two people are alike.

How can you say if she really liked/loved him she wouldn't make him wait.

What makes you think she even knows what she feels? Not everyone's feelings are so clear to them.

Love is never so black and white

Like I said don't stop your life for her-- but don't go around with other girls just for the hell of it either. Do what your heart tells you-- not what spite does. And que sera sera- whatever will be will be.

If you're meant to find your way back to each other, you will. But don't hold a grudge because some people take longer to understand themselves and their feelings than others.
