Not very good. The person who transferred the property to you can file a Corrective Deed. If you try to fight it you'll have to prove that you paid for the property and were entitled to it. Since you said it was mistakenly deeded to you then it is highly unlikely that you'll be successful.

My thought would be your chances are slim to none. Same as suddenly finding someone else's money in your bank account - it's not yours. And corrective Deeds are filed all the time.

(How did property mistakenly get Deed into your name? Just curious.)

I would have to ask "how" did they put it in name by mistake.
