Banging heating system pipes, after reroute of plumbing
I have replaced a baseboard heading unit in my kitchen while remodeling. I replaced the old baseboard unit, with 2 smaller inline units. Ever since I did this I have banging pipes whenever the gas hot water furnace fires up. I also notice that the output of heat from the radiators"I have 2 zones" is diminished. Where did I go wrong?

You removed baseboard and replaced with 2 smaller inline units.. Tell us what the 2 smaller inline units are... are they kickspace units..

And other thought is to check shutoffs used... and to be sure that boiler is operating in the 12-15 P.S.I. area of pressure... check these things and then tell us what the in line units are and we will see what we can think of. Best wishes.

Mike you have air bubbles trap in your system, you need to need to bleed the system through a vent valve and should install a srubber to constantly remove air.
