Can anyone tell me what the Statute of Limitations is in Prince Edward Island for wrongful death. It involves an 18-year-old who committed suicide in his room at a hospital while under psychiatric care and in its custody?

canadacalling, I have done a search and cannot locate any mention of the statute of limitations for this. I really think you should consult an attorney regarding this sensitive issue.

Private facility or Government facility? I believe it's the same as the US if it's a Government facility in that the Government must be put on notice of the intention to sue within a certain number of days (in NYS it's 90 days).
