Movie title from the 80's
I have been trying to think of this movie title for ages. I saw this drama movie on HBO or Showtime in the 80's but am unsure if it was a movie by the channel or a theater movie shown on that channel. It was about a teenage girl the summer after her graduation visiting her mother's friends (and possibly sister) in Italy (I believe). One gentleman there was a sculptor. She is trying to find out if one of the men there is her real father. In the meantime, she begins to fall for the slick rich boy from the mansion nearby only to find true love with the shy boy instead. There is also a man staying with the family she is with who is gay. It has a strong bohemian feel to it. This may be hard to figure out. I certainly can't think of what it was. Thanks.
