    Can anyone translate a piece of homework I did into latin?
    I wrote this as my home work 4 history but would like it translated into latin also. It would be great if someone would be able to do that. Dear diary
    Today I went into battle with the roman army; I am a foot soldier. I had to wear this really heavy shoulder armour on each shoulder. I had a lot of other armour as well and it was all really heavy. I was actually quite scared when I first went in but when I killed a couple of people I felt all right. It was really bloody and it made me a feel a bit sick looking at the bodies and the smell of them was awful, but it seemed to go quite quickly. It only seemed like an hour at the most.
    We had really good tactics but the opponents were like a riot, they had no order at all!! What we did was we went in through the front and attacked while the horse men went around the back and killed loads of people. We had these big cannons that shot big balls of fire over the other side towards the enemy, which was really far away. They had these big axe things which could break the shields!!
    After we were victorious we went round and got them to kill their soldiers and we took their rings and money and killed the other soldiers left.
    One would be able to do that.

    I took four years of Latin in High School and two more years in college - this is your homework.

    Here is a site for translation:

    Use Google Translate. Set the left box to "English"; the right box to "Latin". When I did this, I got the following translation, (it is up to you to determine if the translation was correct);

    Quote:

    Dilecti Diary,
    Hodie EGO went in pugna Romano exercitu peditum sum. Haec umeris arma portaret grave esset realiter in utroque humero. EGO had multus of alius bene, et omnia arma vero gravis. Ego primum ingressus erat, egestas eu a iugo of populus EGO felt occidi said neque. Nam cruentus et posuit me sicut vere sentio aliquantulus infirmus vultus procul corpora eorum dirae, et odor, said ut videtur parum cito. Ut nisi quasi horae ad summum.

    Aliquam tincidunt lacus said bonum oppositum tumultus velut, ut omnino nihil! Vestibulum ante fuit transivimus per impetum equitum hominibus interfectis onera tergo et circumibat homines. Lorem ipsum his ut tincidunt cannons ignis magnus balls trans fretum in hostem, quod vere est. They had illa magnus securis res quod could effrego arma!

    Postquam nos uictores circuivit et accusam et occidere milites cepimus interfectis eis anulos labore et aliorum militum reliquit.
