    Sound driver
    I have a Toshiba Satellite, 110.
It seems my sound driver is not functional. The control panel shows no sound device. How can I get it working.

It seems your Sound Card is not functional/disabled (assuming you have a soundcard , has your PC ever played sound?).
You need to check the sound cards status in Device manager ,go to ControlPanel(classic view)--System---Hardware Tab----Device Manager.
Down toward the bottom of this list is the 'sound video and game controllers' click once on the + to expand it.
What you are looking for are any red X or yellow ! Which will tell you if the sound card is diabled or has a problem

Make sure you check the simple things like is the volume muted? Try playing another sound file with a different application
