Is it just the one sink that isn't giving you hot water? Do all other sinks and tubs give both hot and cold?

I think we are on different sides of the pond, our vocabulary doesn't match too well. I do not understand the meaning of indirect cylinder, is it s separate hot water heater or part of your home heating system? Where do you live Mike?

I live in Ireland. My indirect cylinder is part of my home heating system which is heated from a boiler. In the indirect system circulation is from the boiler to a small cylinder known as a calorifier set inside the main hot water cylinder. Therefore water in the main cylinder is heated indirectly by the calorifier and is piped to the hot water taps. What can be wrong when there is no hot water in the hot water taps in the house despite the radiators being hot.

Sorry Mike but I have zero experience with this type of system. Maybe someone else will drop in who has worked on one.

    Good luck, Bob
