    19yr old dating 16yr old
I have a friend who has just turned 19. He has been talking to a girl who has just turned 16 as well. If they were to date and begin a sexual relationship of any kind, would he be facing any legal issues? He and I have been trying to resolve this, we found on one site that as long as there over 14 and there's no relationship of trust or dependency its fine. But isn't him dating this girl a relationship of trust. What does that rule even mean.

Regardless, if he dates her and they become sexually active, can he get into any trouble seeing as how he would never force anything upon her.

By the way, we live in Ontario Canada

Position of trust would normallly refer to a teacher, or some adult that because of their job would be considering cuasing them to feel they have to do what they are told.

Call up family planning association or your local police and just be frank and see what they say..
