    wireless internet connection
I'm going on vacation to visit some family, regardless all they have is dial up and I don't want to use that. I'm looking to get a wireless internet connection. My computer has wifi but is there something like a wireless internet prepaid card... maybe something that will give me x amount of minutes for x amount of dollars.
I looked at some of the cards through verizon and other places but it seems like there all based off contracts I just want something for this one shot deal
    any info would help
    thanks

If you have a wireless card in you laptop maybe there is an unsecure network you can connect to. I don't think there is an short-term wireless services unless you are in a hotspot that charges.. in which case when you try to log on the will be a number you call.

Hey, no there is no short term wire-less card's, but if u wanted you could just get a contract and have the mobile wifi, may-b it would come in handy in the future if you ever have to travel again.
