John Deere 318 not getting gas
I have a john deere 318 and I have replaced the fuel pump and clean out the gas tank and put new gas in and I am not getting gas to the carbeurator. It cranks up hwen I put some gas in the carbuerator but only stays running for a few seconds

Just curious, are you certain you hooked the fuel lines up correctly? Did you check the fuel lines to see if they were clean and open? Have you inspected the carb? The float could be stuck closed and not allowing fuel to enter the carb, remove the carb bowl and check for proper float and needle valve operation.

I no the carb is OK ,however you could be right about the fuel lines because I did not check them, but I did clean out my gas tank

I know you probably think the carb is fine, but I have had to clean one more than once to get it actually clean enough to work correctly. Hope you get it going.
