My spray hose on my kitchen sink is too long and continuously catches on the pipes under the sink. I want to shorten this hose, but have no idea how. Any info is appreciated.

You can not shorten the manafactured spray hose that came with the faucet. My sugestion would be to try to isolate the spray hose from the pipes that it is hanging on. You might cut a sheet of goods of some kind, maybe poster board, and make it tall enough that as you pull the spray up it does not go higher than the board, then as the spray hose is lowered it will slide down the poster board and be free of any pipes under the sink. Another way would be to make a tube out of something like a heavy plastic and let the spray hose hang down in the tube, then as the spray is used it should go up and down in the tube.
Let me know if either one of these sugestions work. Thanks
I think the end at the faucet is 1/4'' pipe. Take it off, cut it length and go to the hardware store and buy a 1/4'' hose nipple that fits the hose. Buy a small stainless steel screw type hose clamp. Clamp the nipple in the hose, and reattach.
