I have purchased and installed a new Shower kit (Gerber). The cold water was dripping, that was the reason for repair. The kit and yes the seats were replaced. The cold water is dripping more than before the repair.
The stem calls for 1/4L Flat washer. Is it possible or can more than 1 washer be used for the stem. I am truly at a loss.

OK any chance of a model number of the kit you put in, was it a complete valve replacement? Can you pin point the exact point of the leak?
