You did not put all that weight on overnight did you? No. Then you cannot safely take it off overnight either. For starters cut out all soft drinks whether they are diet or not. Drink plain water. Also do not use artificial sweeteners. Use natural sweeteners like stevia.
Cut out all junk foods also and all fast foods (this means no more Burger King, etc), no pizza either. You need to start eating sensibly. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat chicken, fish, eggs. Cut back on the bread intake also.
Try staying away from any soy or soybean products like soybean oil, roasted soybeans. Also look on the labels of your food for the word "soy products or soybean oil or soy anything" near the beginning of the food content. If the word soy is the first or second ingredient listed... don't eat it. I've lost several pounds since I stopped eating soy anything since October and am not on a diet now. Soy hides in the strangest places in processed foods. Coffee creamer, for instance, starts with soy as the listed ingredient. Commercial salad dressings have soybean oil. Eating a salad is great, except when you put all that soybean oil on it. Soybeans are basically for animal feed so that the animals gain weight.
Don't mess with diet pills either. You said you were 16 but you didn't say how tall you are. If you are under 5'4" you are a bit overweight and need to start doing something about it before you get much older and keep adding more pounds on.
Take your time losing the weight that way it will stay off longer. Quick diets mean quick weight loss and quick re-gain weight.
