    Ciprofloxacin use in dogs
    HI!!

I am new to this group and wanted to see if anyone can tell me if ciprofloxacin (cipro) may be used for dogs? Also, is there a good web site that gives the names of "people medicines" that may also be safely used in dogs?

    Thanks!!

That's a pretty potent antibiotic. Why do you think your dog needs it? Definitely have the dog checked out by your vet to se what is going on. He/she will be in the best position to decide. Lots of factors go into choosing an appropriate treatment for any given conditon.
