I am a beginner when it comes to computers and so I accidentally erased all software for my multimedia audio device and so have no sound. How do I go about downloading software for my computer. All I seem to come up with are drive scans to fix the problem but I just don't get it. Any help would be great, thanks.

If you go to the website of the maker of your computer. They will have a area of hardware or downloads. If you are uanware of what you are actually looking for you can type sound card into the search engine and then if you go to Microsoft and ask them to update your computer they usually restore all of the hardware your computer should have that you may have erased.
