Burying a pipe in the slab
    Hello,

    Hi, I'm new here!

I'm looking for information on who I would contact to get this done? I have a copper water pipe that feeds my outdoor hose sticking out of my concrete slab about 16" from the wall and 8" off the ground. I would like to get it buried and out of sight. Any ideas on cost and whether I could do this myself instead?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Zach,

If you wish to do this yourself you will have to chip the cement from around the pipe back far enough make a cut beneath the level of the cement. Then the pipe will have to evacuated of water for 8" down and a permanent cap soldered on and the cement patched. You will have to have solder equipment and skills to dothis job. This should take a plumber about two hours to complete. Good luck, Tom,
