Hi, I'm in 8th grade and I like this one guy, but he likes one of my friends. I asked her if she likes him but she said no and she'll never go out with him. Although he told me he likes her about 2 months ago, it looks like he's flirting with me, and a lot of my friends told me he is, he's always saying hi and looking at me and talking to me whenever he can, he even talked about hanging out sometime. What should I do?:confused:

I think if you like him you should hang out with him but be sure to not over analyze the situation. Go out as friends.

I would suggest hanging out with him, but leave your options open to others in whom you might be interested. It's best to shop around and not get too serious in relationships at your age. Best to put forth as much effort as you can in your what you are doing in school and what you will like to be someday as far as having a career of some kind.
