I wondered what the statute of limitations is on a foreclosure, that had a balance owing with CMHC after the property was sold in foreclosure?

I just heard that property statutes are in the 10 year range.Not what I expected and a lot longer than any one else had asserted.Evidently it's not even a fixed date as there are ways to alter the deadline.
