I really hope someone can help with this, I'm having some trouble with torrenting files (I use BitTorrent), and I'm having problems with my DivX player.

Every time I'm torrenting something (this just happened yesterday), I get the blue screen (aka "The Blue Screen of Death"), and it's the same when I use DivX player. Also with the DivX player, right at the beginning of an episode/file that's playing, at least five minutes into it, it stops and skips.

I'm not sure if it's the files? (I'm pretty sure they're fine). I've been restarting my computer, and continue torrenting, and sometimes have no problems with finishing it up.

I've tried re-downloading DivX player, only to have the same results as before.

When the blue screen comes up, it says I should switch audio/visual drivers? I'm not sure how to do this, although I do have all the software/hardware for my computer at my desk.

The strange thing is (I reformatted my hard drive about two weeks ago, everything had been running smoothly) when I had DivX player before (I reformatted), and had been torrenting before, nothing had gone wrong, and the files played without any problems.

Can someone help me with this?
If not, could you at least help me find a way to make it easier to explain when I call Dell technical support? :confused:
(My computer is only a year old, and I'm certain that I don't have any viruses or spyware, although I'm not sure if that's what the cause of it is?)
Also, if no one can answer this here, does someone know a forum I can post on with this question, or should I be posting this somewhere else in the Technology forum on AskMeHelpDesk?

I certainly would not call Dell concerning playing your bittorrent movies, they won't help you there. Uninstall your divx player, reboot, and try this one: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/.

Okay, should I just tell them I keep getting the blue screen?
