    This is sort of personal.
I was just wondering if a yeast infection could stop my period. I am 2 1/2 weeks late for my period. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant, but a week ago a test came back negative. I have not taken another one... but I have been having symptoms of a yeast infection. So I was just wondering if maybe that could be it... Sorry if that is a dumb question...

It's not a dumb question, it could very well be that your hormone levels weren't high enough to register when you took the test.
Try taking another test using first morning urine, or even better make a doctoras appt for a blood test.

I took another pregnancy test today... Nothing... It says it is negative. I am going to give it another week then go and get a blood test I think. If I have not started.

    Good luck dear...

Just thought I'd mention that it is important to take care of the infection...
Yeast infections during pregnancy and even during delivery are one of the main causes of Thrush infections for the baby so make sure that you receive the proper counselling and treatment. You body is the only one you'll have for the rest of your life so please use all means possible to take good care of it so that it can take care of you.

We are all aware that doctor's visits are not free - but they are well worth the investment. And if you do have a yeast infection - make sure your husband gets treated too - it's a two-way street here.

Again, good luck, and keep us posted.
