Is a ground fault indicator located in the breaker box?

    Tom,

I'm not real sure I understand what you mean by “indicator”. There are circuit breakers that incorporate a GFCI in them. Some of these will have a button indicator or other visual clue if tripped. In most new homes the GFCI is installed at the point of use, like near bathroom sinks, kitchen sink or laundry room sink. The normal outlet type GFCI have a “reset” button used to reactivate the unit if tripped or tested using the test button on the front. Is this what you are looking for? If not, a little more detail would help.

    Regards,

    Eric D
