    Medicare Advantage
I have been in Financial Services for 18 years; everything from stocks and bonds to insurance and annuities. It appears many reps are making a lot of money on Medicare Advantage Plans these days. I can't nail down where to go to get good pre-set leads for this, especially on a part-time basis. Is anyone on here doing this and can help?
    Thanks, Ed

The medical advantage can make fairly good money, there are places you buy leads basically a list of people 64 1/2 and older and just all them and call them and call them. I can supply you some good lead purchase companies if you would like.

Also some companies provide some leads for their agents, I sell it though Today's Option and Pryamid Life and then some policies though Mutual of Omaha ( the MO are more medicare suppliments)

Now you don't really get a commission ( not a percent) but you are normally paid a one time payment for the sale of the policy.
Remember depending on the state ( acutally the county in the state) in some cases the person has no additional payment to make, beyond the money they already pay for their medicare part B. And in other cases, they only have 30 to 60 dollars ( nromally the cost of their drug plan alone)

Also in each state there are some counties that a agent will not get paid anything for writing the policies.

There are very strict rules about holding mettings, they have to register the meetings 30 days before and follow very strict rules . Group meetigns of most types. You also have to take a short ( online course) and be approved to sell before you can sell. And of course have to be a licensed health insurance agent.

Thanks Chuck. I have worked with a few lead companies with various results. It's interesting to me however that Agents tell me they are swamped with business doing this, but if they drop a mailing or receive leads on annuities or life insurance, they many times have to struggle. I get the same feeling with Benefits Enrollment. The Agents tell us (I am a Sales Manager for a national Marketing Organization) they are simply swamped with each of these programs, yet they do it independently and on their own schedule. I am looking for a good niche to control my own schedule, but I have high, dependable income needs. Yes, I want it all, but with 11 licenses and 18 years experience, why not!
