    Limitations on debt?
I am being bothered by a debt collector about an old(seven plus years)credit card debt.I need to know the limit the law allows for collection of a debt.

Just when you think you got away with it, they pop up again, don't they ? Six years, I think, is the limit most anywhere for Statute of Limitation. Otherwise Google your state and you can find out the exact amount.

Difficult to say for B.C. on statute of limitations because they have a 'jurisdiction act' that they say 'is best researched by an attorney' and basically always subject to revisions. For instance the statute for returning property is l0 years and apparently that can be under revision too. So no definitive answer to your question, sorry. I searched here and found one answer is six years, but that was very erroneous.
